Spied parked in the concrete jungle that is Manhattan was a new BMW M3 in Mineral White. While that doesn't seem like such a big deal in a place where M3 and M4s are quite common, this particular instance is special.
That's because the car in question is the first one really seen on the street equipped with the all-new Competition Package. Duh.
Equipped with "HT" distributor plates from Georgia, this is an early build, BMW North America car either for marketing or engineering purposes. Perhaps it's the product manager's ride. Likely this is not a press vehicle as they typically come with standard New Jersey plates and it's written into the contracts that you cannot park on New York City streets.
That said, my previous thread just detailed via Steve Sutclife's video if the Competition Package is worth it. Now that you have the answer, what do you think of its look?

The 5,000 dollars is worth the minimized wheel gap. i wasn't sold on it until i saw it in person, absolutely awesome.
