It's safe to say that the 2014 New York Auto Show was relatively tame when compared to the likes of the 2014 Beijing Motor Show.
That thing was like a couture fashion show with all sorts of intriguing concepts forecasting the future of automobiles.
The Big Apple? Not so much.
One of the big splashes came from the likes of Mercedes-Benz who dropped the all-new MLC on everyone. Though it's been rumored to have been in development for quite some time, Beijing provided the venue for the big reveal.
Styled with the roofline of a BMW X6, it's been interesting to see folks' reaction to the all-new Benz. And though the MLC was merely a concept, it's clear that Mercedes isn't fooling around with bringing it to the real world. These spy shots are a pretty good indicator of that.
That said, I have to wonder: should Mercedes-Benz have ventured on a different branch to make the MLC a little less BMW X6?
I mean, if you lined them up side by side they'd essentially mirror each other.
