Step on up, step on up, folks!

Recently spotted was the all-new Rolls-Royce Phantom. The current-generation has been on the market for about a decade now and as you may expect, it's starting to show its age. After having the chance to drive one myself this year, I have to say that while it's an epic land yacht, it also is lacking in the technology department.

Something tells me that's not the biggest deal to its buyers; however, if Rolls wants to combat the all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class — which IS taking some interest away — it better make sure to bring its "A" game.

So, it appears that's exaclty what's happening.

In the latest collection of spy images, a spy snapped not only pictures of the next-gen Phantom's exterior, they also snagged pictures of its interior. Although it does have some strategic camouflage, it's blatantly obvious that the Phantom will receive a much changed interior. If the center console does remain that would be a HUGE change considering the Phantom currently uses that space for a gigantic armrest and iDrive control. Something tells me that bit is lifted from the 7-Series for developmental purposes.

On the outside the car is sporting a current-gen Phantom body with a quad-tipped exhaust that's clearly not production ready. One thing I noticed is that the car sits much lower than the real deal, so, it will be interesting to see what Rolls is up to.

It will also be interesting to see what Roller does with this vehicle's exterior design and if it will make a BIG departure from the current car.
