As you may have noticed by now, we've been keeping a very close eye on Mercedes-Benz's various E-Class complementary models. As of now that includes the E-Class Convertible and, of course, the Mercedes-AMG E63.
While we recently saw the 'vert, it's been a little bit since we saw the AMG version. That changes today.
Seen here in the latest spy shots, the AMG is spotted in estate form. Still boasting quite a bit of camouflage, it's still easy to spot the AMG-specific treatments. Examples include the all-new front clip that features monster air intakes and a differentiated front grille.
Around the side and back you'll note the lowered stance and big brake kit.
While we don't expect a summertime debut, we do think it's safe to say that this high-performance E stands a chance for an autumn debut. The latest word on the street suggests that the standard E63 will make approximately 570 horsepower and the hopped-up "S" model will make over 600 ponies.
We'll keep you abreast of the latest news as it breaks.
