The three-pointed star shines again. While the second AMG-developed vehicle has been out for a couple years now, it was recently given a boost by an all-new, hardcore model. Dubbed the GT-R, it sounds a lot like a Nissan but we're confident that's where the similarities will end.
But, Mercedes told us, more is on the way for the AMG GT. And that's where the all-new AMG GT C comes into play.
Seen here in Roadster form for the very first time, we can confidently say it will take a page out of the old-school Mercedes-Benz Roadster playbook. Loooong hood with a masterful motor, small cabin with a cloth top and a short rear deck.
Unlike the previous players though, I am betting that this all-new AMG will be the best handling Mercedes convertible EVER produced. After driving the coupe, there's no doubt that this is the most focused three-pointed star ever built.
The only difference is this one will let you go from a coupe to having infinite headroom in seconds.
