OK, while I'll be the first to admit I was disappointed with the all-new BMW M235i, I will say that I am eagerly awaiting the all-new M2. I think this car is going to be MEGA!
Why? Well, simply put, it's the real follow up to the likes of the 2011 BMW 1M. To me, I think it's the best BMW the company has made in years. Yes, the all-new M4 is a better performer but I think if it were my dollars on the line I'd opt for the 1M.
Then again, I flip flop on the all-new M4 vs. the 1M all the time. What can I say, it's a tough decision!
Having said that, all-new spy video capturing the M2 undergoing developmental testing at the world famous Nürburgring has surfaced. At this point the camouflage has pretty much come off for the most part with some minor wrapping on the front valence, side and rear valence/diffuser.
Without any MAJOR auto shows on the horizon, there's only two possible places the M2 could debut: August's Monterey Weekend or the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
