One of the most highly anticipated M cars in recent memory — seriously though, which one isn't — is the upcoming M2. Why? Well, after seeing how good the 2011 1M is, everyone is especially stoked.

What will be interesting to see if BMW limits its production to less than 1,000 units in North America or if it will be broadly distributed a la the current-gen M3 and M4.

Although the all-new M2 has been snapped extensively, I am pretty sure that not many video clips of it exist out there. That changes right now as a spy abroad visited the world famous Nürburgring this week and filmed a pair of M2s getting a helluva work out.

From what I can tell, it looks like the M2 is looking very tight around the track. Looks like home to me!

That said, check out the clip below and let us know your initial impressions.

Yesterday I have filmed some 2016 BMW M2's what was testing at the Nurburgring.

The M2 gets 370hp and 465 nm torque in the 3.0 liter 6 cilinder engine!
