Ever since we saw the Toyota FT-1 Concept, we've been licking our chops. We've been awaiting the latest news coming from Japan about the coming Supra.

Oh, and in case you forgot it's a joint project between Toyota and BMW. That means BMW will get a Z5 out of the deal.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner?

As of now, information remains quite slim on both vehicles. The only word we've heard is that the Toyota will make use of a six-cylinder, twin-turbo Lexus engine. The BMW? We can only assume an inline six that's forced induction.

Appearing on the 'net today though is all-new spy video of a test car coming out of BMW's M Test Center located at the world famous Nürburgring. To me this is the BMW variant as it appears to feature some BMW-like treatments — see the Hoffmeister Kink and the 3-Series mirrors.

Listen to the engine/exhaust note? Hear anything interesting in there? It's most definitely a six but is that a supercharger? Turbocharger? Electric tech?

What say you, Spies?

The Toyota Supra (MKV) prototype has been spotted today at the BMW M Test Center at the Nurburgring.
