The next-gen Mercedes-Benz E-Class has been generating high interest here on AutoSpies. We're not overly surprised either. That's because the three-pointed star has been knocking it out of the park with all of its latest products.
When it comes to luxury cars, I am pretty sure no one is doing it better than them at the moment. There is one vehicle that's lagging behind in the company's portfolio of products. That would be the E-Class.
Have no fear though. Unlike other — more complacent — luxury automakers, Mercedes has been preparing an all-new E. We've been keeping an eye on it as it's been undergoing research and development. It's been a while, to say the least.
Finally though we've started getting a better idea of what it will look like when all its clothes come off. The latest video was shot by a helluva spy that was outside of what appears to be a Mercedes-Benz facility.
Note the dozens of covered up E-Class vehicles sitting.
Thanks to a nice zoom you can see some revealing shots of the all-new E. Check out its front grille, side profile, wheels, brakes and even the interior seat controls. Clearly the company has removed all of the previous-generation E's unique design. Now it is a proper middle child in the core Mercedes lineup of C, E and S.
Scope out the video below for yourself and let us know what your first impressions are.
