This summer has been an interesting one for BMW. Although there's been plenty of accolades for the all-new 2015 BMW M3 and M4, one car that's also been receiving a heaping of love is the BMW M235i.
Considered an M Performance product, it's not a proper M car; however, you wouldn't know that given all the damn M badging on the thing. For me, it's a poser's car.
It drives like an old 135 except it doesn't look as goofy. Sorry, but someone had to say it. It just should NOT be wearing an M badge. It doesn't feel even close to an M car. The M division should be ashamed of letting this get through. It's genius marketing but not a genius product.
Now, if you were to ask me what was one of the best BMW's produced over the past , say, five years there's no question I'd answer the 2011 BMW 1M and the all-new 2015 BMW M3/M4.
Although I was thought to believe that a 1M type of car would NOT be produced for quite a bit of time — thanks to a BMWNA spokesperson — this is clearly not the case. We've seen in a slew of photos at this point the all-new M2 undergoing developmental testing.
Now we've got our hands on some video.
Without further ado, check it out all she has to give in the clip below!
