We've been watching and we're still waiting.

The Porsche 911 (991) Targa is nearly here, we think. We've seen it snapped from a variety of angles, captured in up close footage and also with its top off. I think it's safe to say we have an idea about the vehicle — though it's top has been camouflaged from day one — but we'd like it to be completely butt naked already.

In the latest video, spies caught the all-new Porsche 911 Targa lapping the Green Hell with some aggression. Though the Targa is largely thought of as the worst performing 911 due to its increased weight, it'll be interesting to see how Porsche does it for the 911. Rather than use that large piece of glass that was seen on the 993, 996 and 997, Porsche will be bringing back a proper Targa roof that can be completely removed.

Will it be aluminum, carbon fiber or some other composite? Time will tell and we're left waiting in the wings.

Until then, check out the clip below...
