In the universe of hot hatches, there's been a handful of vehicles that never made it stateside.

Slowly but surely this is changing as automakers aim to become more competitive and more sporting with their offerings.

Ford is the latest.

The Focus RS is considered one of the ultimates and if the company is sticking to its global plan, we expect we'll finally get a taste of Ford's icon that never hit our shores.

Expected to produce somewhere in the neighborhood of 300-350 horsepower from a forced induction four cylinder engine, we don't think power will be a problem. What may be is it will be a front-wheel drive vehicle. Of course, this is concerning though we're sure Ford probably has worked out the kinks of FWD through the art of witchcraft.
