If there's one noise that I've come to lust, it's the sound of a shrieking Porsche 911 as its six howls. I'll never forget the many times I've been behind the wheel at 3:00 a.m. and the revs are climbing.

It's spine tingling goodness.

While the 911 (991) GT3 may seem like it just came out recently, the reality is that with the 991.2 upon us the GT3 is due for an update.

That means it will get all of the 991.2's revisions, which includes new front and rear clips, updated LED lighting, updated taillights and more. The biggest change that purists will be happy to know about is the addition of a traditional manual gearbox.

In the clip below you'll want to pay attention to the first car as it features 991.2 features — note the four-point taillights on braking.

During the Industrypool test days this week, I have filmed again this new Porsche 991 GT3 Mk II spied testing on the Nürburgring, Nordschleife. The Porsche testdrivers have considerably increased the intensity of the testing sessions.
