It seems like only yesterday but the Lamborghini Huracan has actually been around for a couple years now. Hard to believe, right?

THINK: There's now several options to choose from. There's the standard Huracan, the rear-wheel drive Huracan and the all-new Spyder. So, where do we go from here?

Lighter and faster.

As of now speculators have pinpointed what they're calling the Huracan Superleggera. Regardless of the name, we can guarantee you several things.

1) A faster Huracan is on the way;
2) It will be lighter;
3) It wil feature serious aerodynamic changes; and,
4) It will certainly be louder.

We can deduce this thanks to Lamborghini's latest efforts spotted making their way around the world famous Nurburgring. Seen in action for the very first time, this Lamborghini is clearly not your standard Huracan.

Two things to note. It is significantly louder than the standard car. While no information is known at this point, we're betting it will make use of a titanium exhaust to shed weight — typically, titanium exhausts are also much louder. Second, this vehicle has some seriously hardcore aerodynamic changes. More specifically, check out that all-new front valence with various winglets channeling air through the intakes and the large, SuperVeloce-inspired rear spoiler. While the "SV" designation is typically reserved for V12 cars, it will be interesting to see if the Italian marque breaks tradition.

Today I went to the Nürburgring and I saw Lamborghini testing the new Huracan Superleggera. The Superleggera is the hardcore version of the Huracan, and will be around 100kg lighter and has a power increase of 10-20hp, so it will get 620-630hp in total.

As you can see the exhaust pipes are moved to the middle of the rear bumper, a bit like the Scuderia/Speciale from Ferrari. The car will be introduced later this year in Paris or next year in Geneva.
