The facelifted Mercedes-Benz M-class has shed some of its disguise as it moves closer to its public debut at the start of next year.
This late-stage prototype shows several major design changes to the current car, which was introduced in 2011.
Among the changes seen on the updated model is a significant front-end redesign to bring the M-class in line with the current Mercedes family. A larger, more prominent grille and new family headlight clusters, such as those seen on the new S-class and C-class models, can be seen under the reduced camouflage.
A similar redesign at the rear gives the facelifted M-class a new, lower rear bumper, which now completely encloses its dual exhausts, alongside updated rear light clusters.
