I love the new Outlook/Acadia/Enclave, but this proves why it isn't selling very well. No one is bothered to comment on this article, and its probably becuase its a GM. Shame really, because they are all really good cars in terms of bang for the buck.

Absolutely agree. Too bad my wife feels that the Outlook is too big but we are keeping the upcoming 2008 VUE on our shopping list. The only flaw I see in Saturn is with the Aura tail lights. GM designers saw fit to add a chrome border around the red tail lights -- this makes the Aura look cheap. A car should look excepensive and be cheap to buy. It is foolish to deliberately (or through lack of taste) make a car look cheap.

The real problem with Acadia is that there aren't any on the lots. Saturn dealers have many Outlooks lying around, but God forbid you can find an Acadia. Note to GM: make more Acadias, even at the expense of fewer Outlooks. GMC buyers are used to $30K+ price tags, and the Saturn "you'll pay sticker price or else" method is NOT a plus. Since when should the auto-market follow a non-market pricing scheme such as you-pay-sticker? Saturn needs to drop this, now!
