With the 2012 BMW 6 Series capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in just 4.9 seconds, the next-generation M6 has a tough job to do. While we don’t yet have official details on the new M6, shown here testing in Europe, we do have some educated guesses.

The M6 will eschew the V-10 engine that powered the current car, likely for the 555-horsepower twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8 in the X5 M. M quad tailpipes give the car a sporty look.
