Ahh, another new car is added to the BMW family. Now we have the 323, 328, 330, 335, M3 and its new sister M3-CSL.
All these names on the same damn body, hmmm well I would too say yawn!!

variety is a yawn? huh? should we all just drive the same ES350?
choice and personalization is one of the things that makes bmw so appealing.

that's my point enthusias, there are few choices with BMW, its the same 3 series, and with Lexus, you have the ES, IS, GS, LS, SC, etc... And yes they look different, so people know what you're driving. :-)

What are you talking about Designer1, with BMW you have the 1-series, 3-series, 5-series, 6-series, 7-series, X3, X5, Z4. Then there's the different variants of each, and they all look different. Then there's the coupe variants and countless engine options of each.
The reason the 323, 328, 330, 335, M look the same is they're all 3-series cars, its just that you can speck them how you want, the beauty of choice. Lexus will have to offer more choice if they want to succeed outside the US.

So the M3 is useless now there's a M3-CSL? Why didn't they just make this damn M3-CSL THE M3 and end of story?

The new M3 is more usable in day to day driving. The CSL will be a hardcore, stripped down variant. Like Porsche offers with its different 911 variants. Again more choice for the consumer.

Well, you can't see the rear head rests, so maybe no back-seats...
There is new aero work infront of the front arches, and of course that much bigger boot lip...
So it could well be the new CSL, and I can't wait!

Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see anything different on the front or rear bumper.

No differences on the rear bumper as far as I can see. The boot lid is obviously adorned with a new spoiler. The front arches are only slightly different but you can clearly see a carbon fibre winglet extending from the bottom of the front bumper extending up the leading edge of the front wheel arch.

Yes, thank you. Finally something from BMW that's quicker and handles better than the 911 GT3 RS and F430 Scuderia. This will have Porsche and Ferrari pissing in their pants.

ooh. it gets a bigger rear spoiler. how cute.
with the expected bump in hp to 400hp, even the new 997 will hardly break a sweat... while listening to the radio having the ac on. the m3 has got a lot of weight to get rid of.
have you heard how the a4 line will be offering a bang & olufsen sound system? thatll be nice.
