Yesterday and today, supercar manufacturer McLaren showed off not one but TWO images of an all-new vehicle in development.

While my first thoughts focused in on the all-new P13 Sport Series, it became clear quite quickly that this is not the baby Macca. This is, in fact, something much more interesting.

With the all-new P1 GTR on the way, it seems that McLaren has decided to spice up its already hot tamale, the 650S. Although we're not 100 percent sure of the company's intentions, we're thinking it's taking aim at the Ferrari 458 Speciale with a track-focused 650S that may even sport the look of the long gone F1 GTR "longtail."

The only reason we can deduce that is because the company was more than happy to show off the vehicle's camouflage in detail. It used images of the F1 GTR "longtail" to camouflage the all-new McLaren. In addition, note that its ass-end is covered up fully and strategically not photographed.

As of now it's too early to know if it will be a track-only variant or a road-going, track-focused auto.

Until then, speculate away and anticipate a Geneva 2015 debut.
