Have you heard of Meredith Graves? Well, if you're from New York and are planning to pass through Tennessee anytime, you should likely read the following.

In response to Graves' arrest for showing up to the 9/11 memorial in New York City packing a pistol, a Tennessee-based legislator has created a resolution that essentially targets New York drivers who are speeding.

While it isn't assumed to be taken seriously, as it is more likely a method to draw attention to Graves' case, isn't this even a bit over the top?

The resolution will be voted in the Tennessee house of representatives this week. If it passes, it will travel to the senate then the governor.

...A Knoxville-based legislator, who is also apparently a farmer by trade, is so upset over the Tennessee tourist’s gun arrest last month that he drew up legislation addressing it...

...The Tennessee House resolution reads in part: “We remind the citizens of New York, especially those residing in New York City, to drive carefully through the great state of Tennessee, paying extra attention to our speed limits...
