This year BMW is delivering BMWphiles the all-new M2. If you haven't already seen or heard, it's become the BIG star for the Bavarian brand. This is important to note as it's been pretty clear that the blue and white has become a bit softer in its older age.

With electric steering, plenty of electric nannies to save drivers, all-wheel drive and the elimination of manual gearboxes, things aren't looking good. But, as we've come to expect from BMW, the company always reminds us that it knows who it really is.

This is why phenomenal cars like the 1M and M2 come to fruition.

Having said that, there's speculation among gearheads that there is potential for an M2 CSL or GTS. As you'd expect from the both sets letters, this M2 would be lighter, boast more power and be quicker when timed.

Given that the M4 GTS is right around the corner and to be built in limited batches, should BMW do an extremely limited run of M2s in the same steed?

What say you, Spies?
