Well, not everything is as good as it is here in the good 'ol U-S of A. Unfortunately for women in Saudi Arabia, it is against traditional customs for women to drive. Until now, that is.

Thanks to a newfound movement, Women2Drive, women are gaining signatures to submit a letter to King Abdullah. It will inform Abdullah that as of June 17, women will be in the driver's seat.

Keep this in mind, it is not accepted for women to travel alone. It's not against the law, however. Consider this: women cannot take public transportation, women have to hire taxis or expensive drivers. This is because women can't travel without a male relative.
