Do any of you remember the Sultan of Brunei? The royal figurehead was said to have been responsible for keeping certain automakers in business because of his ridiculous orders of special vehicles — many of them one-offs.

Although we hear of some well-heeled folks still doing one-offs, no one really places bulk orders these days. Not unless you're Stephen Hung and you're in the process of building an outrageous resort in Macau.

Hung signed an order for 30(!) extended wheelbase Rolls-Royce Phantoms that will be bespoke and befitting of his resort, Louis XIII. The purpose of the 30-deep fleet is to shuttle guests.

According to Roller, two of the 30 vehicles to be built will be the most expensive bespoke vehicles the legendary automaker will build.

Some images depicting the finished products have surfaced and if we're honest it's pretty atrocious. The power of a checkbook is astonishing.
