Okay, well only the S-Class for now...but for 2008 Mercedes-Benz brings their environmentally friendly flagship to the market with the S-Class Bluetec Hybrid.

With most companies scrambling to grab a piece of the hybrid market (Lexus leading that for now), will BMW and Audi follow suit with their own still elegant but 'greener' flagships? And since for now MB, BMW and Audi do not put diesels in their cars (except for the (06 E320D) destined for the US, will this prompt them to allow us that option as well?

I for one would like to see diesels come back to the US and become an option to choose from when purchasing a car. Will MB do the same for CLS Class? I don't see Porsche or Aston Martin doing this for their new four door coupe's...but then again, with an ever changing and very competitive market; green could be the new color.

With 400lbs. of torque....anyone else drooling?
