This week I spent the later part of it as a guest of Lexus driving the all-new GS F, RC F and other F Sport products. A good time was had by all — except for the couple of folks who did a bit off off-roading at the track.

But while I was having a blast in the Palm Springs area, a teenager was probably getting chewed out by his old man. That's because he just crashed his pops' all-new Lexus RC F on Mulholland Drive. You know, the road where people go to lay — and inevitably — crash.

Though exact details are not known, clearly the car wound up on its side. My guess is the driver exceeded his talent or realized his lack thereof. As the car was on its side, some "helpful" volunteers decided the next best course of action was to get it right side up.

Big mistake.

That's because of two things:

1) The motor was still on, and
2) The emergency brake had not been engaged.

...We’re not aware of what exactly led to the accidental meeting between the Lexus and one of the infamous cliffs in the area, but the RC F flipped onto its side...

...As it often happens after Mulholland Drive crashes, the crowd was happy to assist, so those who witnessed the unfortunate event rushed to bring the car back on its wheels...
