Of all the European rags out there, I have to say that one of the opinions I value highly is that of Evo Magazine. Perhaps it's my love for Harry Metcalfe and his particular way of going about business or perhaps I have seemingly found that my thoughts are in sync with theirs, I think this publication does its very best to tell the real story as they see it.

That's a rarity these days.

So when I heard that Evo had officially named its Car of the Year the Ferrari 458 Speciale I was happy. I've been infatuated with this vehicle since its debut but have yet had the chance to get behind the wheel. When you think of its capabilities and how it brings such a high level of performance down to a more attainable level, it's quite shocking.

Of course I wish it sounded better, but that's not something a Novitec Rosso exhaust couldn't fix.

Check out Evo's video about its announcement and the Ferrari 458 Speciale to hear the justification.
