You know, Chrysler has been behind the curve since getting their bailout funds and hooking up with Fiat. But it seems they have a fire lit under their _ _ _ and are going to be getting back down to brass tacks.

How do I know?

Well, first they pushed up the introduction of the Jeep Grand Cherokee -- or they gave a conservative timeframe at the 2009 New York Auto Show, where the car debuted. Additionally, this car is the bee's knees.

It looks damn near on point to the show car, which was incredibly good looking and had a SOLID interior. Something a Chrysler product -- in recent memory -- always lacked.

Secondly, the first advertisement for Chrysler's new Jeep Grand Cherokee has hit the web and it is fantastic. I only wish it could have aired during the Super Bowl so more people would take notice of the new Chrysler and what it is attempting.

What say you, Spies? Are things shaping up over at Chrysler?
