One event I’ve always wanted to make it out to but have yet to make the trip is the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It just looks like a tremendous amount of fun to watch — and partake — in the storied hillclimb.

As with every annual gathering, this year brought a slew of track-spec and road-going super performers for a weekend of madness.

Being that Aston Martin had not one, but two treasures to display, the crowd was in for a delight. The legendary British marque rolled out the track-spec Vulcan as well as the all-new DB11.

To me this represents Aston most accurately. That’s because the small manufacturer takes its racing as well as its racing heritage seriously, but it is also in the process of starting an all-new era with the DB11. Not only does it mark the start of a new partnership with Mercedes-AMG, expectations are running high that these will be the best grand tourers the company has ever produced.

We’ll find out in short order; however, if you want to join in on the Goodwood fun, scope out the clip below!

With a combined brake horse power of 1400 the Aston Martin Vulcan was pursued up the #FOS Hillclimb by the brand new DB11 this afternoon!
