Set to be one of the world’s most expensive and fastest vehicles on offer, the Bugatti Veyron successor, the Chiron, is going to be a handfull. I don’t say that as speculation but I am stating that as fact.

I can get away with that after seeing the Chiron charge up the drive at this past year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

From the looks of it, the Chiron will require a skilled driver to get the most of it. That is if you’re planning on driving it as hard as possible up a narrow lane.

In a video clip provided to us via EVO, the Chiron’s 8.0-liter W16, quad-turbo engine makes quite an intense roar. The motor is one thing but when the turbos kick in it sounds like all hell is breaking loose. In addition, note the rather violent movements being reverberated through the cabin from braking and acceleration.

This is one naughty, naughty beast.

The Bugatti Chiron has 1479bhp and 1180 lb ft of torque. That's a lot. Far too much really for the tight and twisty Goodwood Festival of Speed Hill Climb.

Still, a ride in a Chiron isn't something you turn down. So here it is, in all it's utterly savage glory, being driven up the hill by Andy Wallace.
