For a lot of gearheads, the best motoring program out there is the BBC's Top Gear series. A mish mash of product reviews, the latest breaking news and an occasional flare up between a nation and its three presenters, you never know what's going to happen with the Top Gear crew.

Its latest Christmas special was produced from an epic adventure that took place in September/October when Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May made their way to Argentina to film.

As most of you know by now, there was offense taken by the locals who claim that two of the three vehicles featured had license plates that were a reference to the Falklands War.

This caused major problems when essentially riots broke out and forced Top Gear out of the country.

We're not quite sure how this one's going to end but we know it will be an awful lot of fun to see how it plays out. Tune in December 27 and 28 to BBC 2 for the Top Gear Christmas special.
