While the Ford GT has been creating quite a buzz on the auto show circuit, the real reason why it was brought back from the dead and recreated was to race. To celebrate the Blue Oval's 50 year anniversary when it won at Le Mans and famously beat out Ferrari, the GT was resurrected.
And it's going to race around Le Mans all over again.
Whether or not the Ford Performance team will be successful in this effort is beyond us; however, what we do know is that we're going to be rooting for the team in the red, white and blue. If you're even a little bit excited, we think we've got something you've gotta check out.
