2016 has been an interesting one when it comes to automotive programming. Mostly because it’s been so damn awful. Well, at least one good thing happened: Top Gear USA was canceled.
Oh, and then the real Top Gear was rebooted. It too, sucked. So, now what? Well, the trio is set to return — and we’re hoping in grand fashion — with its all-new Amazon-based show, The Grand Tour.
While we’re getting pretty jacked up about its fall premiere, we’ve been getting dribbles of content to keep our interest. The latest is a short video of James May rambling on.
And what is better than that? Not much else, I reckon. Personally, he’s my favorite character of the three.
The gist of the story is that May had the chance to drive a racecar, because that’s what he does, and while he got fully prepared and ready to move, he forgot the most important thing. I’ll let him explain.
James May reveals a confession on the set of The Grand Tour, and Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond are perplexed. Lesson of the day, always remember to attach the steering wheel.
