Now, I try not to be serious most of the time but even I fall victim to this.

If I have something that sounds good, boy, I am going to really abuse it. While it may not sound like a good idea to have a sports car in New York, it really is. The sound bounces off the glass canyons.

And if that's not good enough, well, there's always the tunnels. Between the Battery Park Tunnel, Lincoln Tunnel, 1st Avenue Tunnel and Park Avenue Tunnel, you've got options.

Jaguar picked the Park Avenue Tunnel. Something tells me there's two reasons why. First, it is Park Avenue. It's an iconic street in an iconic city. Second, it's dead straight. It gives traffic the chance to go underground for give or take 10 blocks and it spits you out right in front of Grand Central Station for a memorable view.

Here, you'll get a chance to hear what the all-new F-Type SVR sounds like at full tilt. Remember, it is equipped with a lightweight, titanium exhaust. It only adds to the aural excitement.

Watch as the Jaguar F-TYPE SVR demonstrates its distinctive roar in New York City’s Park Avenue Tunnel ahead of the 2016 New York International Auto Show. The tunnel, which passes under seven blocks of the iconic Park Avenue area in Manhattan, provided a unique environment to experience the purposeful and harder edged sound delivered by the fastest production Jaguar ever. #FTYPE #SVR
