In recent years it's been interesting to watch how the sport-utility vehicle market has exploded. An offshoot of this market's runaway success is for even more sporting SUVs. You know what I am talking about.

The BMW X5M, the Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and a lot of folks' favorite, the Range Rover Sport. These vehicles just fly off the showroom floors — the sell themselves. Of course this has led to even more hardcore versions being created and now they're starting to blur the line between sports car and SUV. If you don't believe me, go take an X6M around the track and tell me it's not a competent vehicle.

Range Rover unveiled the Sport SVR this past year but we haven't heard much about it since. In a little promotional clip, seen below, a gentleman discusses what exactly makes the all-new Sport SVR handle so well around a track.

Considering this vehicle weights around 5,000 lbs, it's unfathomable until you actually see it in action.

Witness the inherent balance of the Range Rover Sport SVR - without intervention from traction or stability aids.
