You know which color bothers me MORE than any other? That's right, folks. Silver is my all-time least favorite color. It just seems to have overpopulated the automotive environment in recent years. In fact, if you look around you'll quickly notice that many automakers are SO attached the this hue that it offers multiple options of silver. But silver does serve one solid purpose, it looks good on concept cars and shows off the vehicles' lines. So when Acura debuted the NSX Concept it was a wise move. The new mid-engined NSX revival POPPED on the show floor. But now it's time to show it off with a wider palette. Much like the Lexus LFA, we expect this Japanese supercar to begin making appearances in a wider range of the color wheel.First up is red. That said, is the Acura NSX red HOT or leaving you stone COLD? 2012 Detroit Auto Show Photo Gallery

Can there be such a thing as a generic Japanese super-car? It's great, but emulates a lot of what we've seen coming out of Japan recently. There's no new ground broken here. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice looking car...but I can't shake the feeling that I've seen it before, an angle here, a design element there...just not a lot of originality. This could have a Lexus, Nissan or Hyundai badge on it and no one would know the difference. — kuvakas1 (View Profile)

I think this is a great design with the exception of the front grill.Come on Acura - enough with this family grill - it does not work on the majority of your cars (in fact this is main reason I stopped buying Acuras - and I've owned 4 legands and RLs) you could do so much better with a different look in the front. you are willing to stick this plastic chrome smiley face on this otherwise beautiful sleek modern design? Take it off and give it to Mazda — davide (View Profile)

Perhaps a great performer condemned by Acura's parrot beak grill and kit-car treatments of the front and rear ends. Not destined to become a classic, like the original NSX.— Steve (View Profile)

Hondas, in general, lacks personality in their cars. It looks very cold and mechanical instead of aspiring to be the halo car. Just my opinion.— ThierryHenry14 (View Profile)

They called the NSX McGyver. A car that could do everything but didn't have any chest hair. Porsche has chest hair.— LexSucks (View Profile)

The rear looks like the front of a 3 series Beemer. The front looks like the rear of an Accura TL Joker car. Is this Honda coming or going?Overall, the lines and proportions are outstanding but the detailing is bizarre and is too tainted with Acura styling. The wheels are hideous.— skytop (View Profile)
