Audi of America President Scott Keogh took a moment today to apologize to customers in the wake of an emissions scandal that has engulfed its parent company, Volkswagen, and said Audi's top focus this year is to rebuild trust even as the luxury brand's sales remain better than ever.

Audi sold more than 200,000 cars and SUVs last year for the first time in its history in the U.S. It was an 11.1% increase over the brand's sales in 2014.
