If you have enough money these days, you can make just about anything happen; however, there's a catch to that. It doesn't mean you should.

Take, for example, some of the one-off, coachwork-built cars these days. Some, like the Pininfarina P4/5 are astounding. Others, like the Zagato Bentley Continental GTZ, are less than impressive.

And for one car company based in the U-S-of-A, they're making some owners' dreams come true. Newport Convertible Engineering is at it again.

This time it's not another unfortunate Acura —as if the stock car couldn't get any worse looking. This time it's the all-new Range Rover.

For those of you with a desire to have absolutely no rear-ward visibility and one seriously sloppy looking look when the top's down, this may be the vehicle for you. Words simply can't describe this abomination, so, I'll let the pictures doe the rest of the talking.

Thankfully, Range Rover will be putting an end to this — assuming it launches the previously rumored Evoque convertible. It won't be the big-daddy Range but at least it looks like a proper job and not like a weekend project executed by your crazy uncle.
