I don't mind the overall look at all but I am annoyed at the author of this article because he failed to mention the price of the vehicle -- only the excessive prices of some frivolous accessories. Those ridiculously overpriced black rims appear to be curb scratchers because the spokes curve outward instead of inward away from the far edge or the rim.

40-profile tires may be suitable for cornering in a sports car but they guarantee a harsh ride. Those tires do not bulge out far enough to protect the rims from curb damage.

The use of stainless steel is good but what Toyota really needs after the recent repurchase of Tacoma trucks whose frames rusted clean through is a stainless steel frame. I'll even accept a hot-dipped galvanized steel frame that is powder coated for extra good measure.

Beautiful front, but ABSOLUTELY ugly rear! The same goes to the new Lexus LX 570. How could Toyota/Lexus goes wrong with the ugly back of these expensive SUVs?!!! I just don't get it.

The only silly rear part I can see is the extra tail lamps incorporated very low in the rear fenders. That appears to be a deliberate conspiracy to part the consumer with more of his money every time a high bumper rear ends this vehicle.

isnt the land crusier meant for off-roading? the rims wouldnt help at all, and they dont really match the Land cruiser imo, especially since theres that big old bumper thingamabobber in the front. put a lift kit and some big knobby tires!!

pedestrian protection safety standards !!!
the bull bar will kill the pedestrian at the impact moment. the next year model will get a facelift to get rid of the headlights because toyota got many complains that they look like the old lexus es300

We made bull bars illegal in Europe because they hurt pedestrians too much.

Except for these 'special' ones which don't hurt pedestrians.

I am sure this thing is pricey. So, why would you drop that much cash on a car and get toyotas customer service when you could go down the street and buy an X5 and be treated like a GOD.
