I just don't like the current BMW designs no matter how hard I try. I have always loved the engines and the handling but this is a car I wouldn't even consider. I just don't like how it looks. I liked the last body style soo much more. Now if I were shopping that class it'd have to an E550.

the E550 is a very nice sedan. it's seriously fast...but just doesn't have the handling and fun to drive factor of the 550i. probably best for those who lean a little more toward the luxury side of the luxury/sport equation.

just test drove this car this weekend. and i'd have to agree with agent 001...it's an amazing sedan. precise handling, wonderful power and stupidly fun to drive!

All the magazine writers are saying the 535 is actually better than the 550 (less weight equals same acceleration and better handling). I have never liked the torque curve of a turbo. I find it hard to believe. Thoughts? Also, any thoughts on how much better the 2008 is than the 2007 550?

I dig the integrated flashlight. But at this point, the "best seats" in the biz must go to Lexus.
