DRIVEN + VIDEO: Is The All-new, 2020 Lincoln Aviator The IT SUV Of This Year? Doug DeMuro Details It INSIDE And Out...
I can't believe I am saying this. But, one of the top vehicles I've been awaiting in 2019 has finally started hitting dealers.

That would be the 2020 Lincoln Aviator.

Clearly, Ford's luxury division is squaring up with the Land Rover Range Rover Velar. It has slick styling and an even slicker interior that deserves your attention. Even better, it'll actually work.

The side effect of Lincoln's effort? It'll also make buyers cross shop against the Audi Q7, BMW X5, Infiniti QX60, Lexus RX/QX, Mercedes-Benz GLE and Volvo XC90.

Taking a step back, I've got to ask: Is the 2020 Aviator the IT SUV of 2019? Have you been waiting for its debut? Are you considering adding one to your fleet?

The 2020 Lincoln Aviator is a fantastic luxury SUV -- and today I'm reviewing the Lincoln Aviator to show you why. I'm going to show you all around the new Aviator and review its quirks and features, and then I'm driving the 2020 Lincoln Aviator.

This $90,000 Lincoln Aviator Black is a very nice mid sized SUV.

Looks pricey but well-finished. Is it me, or is the 2nd row tight and the third row really tight on space?

Nice package - wonder how it works in real world?

It's quite silky to drive. Truly enjoyable as a luxury vehicle. Go drive one.

Nice but $90,000.....no thanks. Depreciated and worth $20,000 in three years yes.

That is the top of the line version with every option under the sun.

For scale Doug is about 6'2". It is amazing how large mid-size SUV's are these days. The Navigator must be a monster.

Thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis is the Aviator. The Aviator is very nicely done and you won't find them at dealers. They just don't stay long.

I found a very nicely equipped one for $62,000. Best US luxury interior to date.
My dealer sells them as fast as they arrive.
Big home run for Lincoln.

We have none in stock that are up for grabs. All of our incoming have homes before they get here.

Either the Lincoln or the Kia Telluride one of them better be. Those are one hell of dome designs one hell of some designs indeed.

Funny what happens when you launch a REAL luxury SUV like this Aviator... they move quickly... wonder how the XT6 is doing...? GM needs to clean their ivory towers out and put some serious leaders in there... their products are embarassing...

The XT6 should make enough volume to put the horrible CT6 out to pasture.

The CT6 was a lost opportunity. A promising platform done in by a too conservative design, a WTF interior that resembled a 1980s Impala design than a modern lusury design, and being launched with a emphasis on the 4 cyl rather than the V8. The Blackwing CT6 should have been the starting point with a better interior. Now this thing will be killed off due to poor decision making. The engineers did their job and were let down.

I thought we agreed that no more Doug videos would be posted. I mean, waxing poetic about chrome surrounds around the console as if that hasn’t been done for decades? Had to turn it off.

About the car, it’s nice. Very nice. For an American luxury SUV. My gut tells me that Genesis’ first SUV will eclipse it.

Please...no more Doug DeMuro....we can seek him out on YouTube on our own if we want to watch.

Just read the review on autoblog.com and I’m going to say that this car just might be a huge game changer. Americans want luxury and this car delivers it more than almost anything offered outside of much higher priced SUVs. The interior in the cream color with the ash wood inserts is stunning. And the exterior styling really stands out. So I will happily correct myself and say that Genesis will have a hard time doing better with their first SUV, specifically if they’re going to gun for the Germans and not lux it out against the Aviator. Caddie, your XT6, is shameful and will,be forgotten easily.
