SPIED! Why Wait Until Sept. 9 To See The All-new Ferrari 812 GTS? It's Been LEAKED In Its FULL Glory, NOW!
Well, well, well. Ferrari's reveal of the upcoming, open-top 812 Superfast has leaked early.

That's because someone had their handy dandy mobile phone or camera for the big moment. Because of this spy, we're now able to show you this all-new F car before the September 9 reveal.

Although we're not privy to understanding exactly how the top comes off — we're assuming it'll be a fully power-operated, retractable top — as you can see below, the changes are really from the A-pillar back. Note what appear to be buttresses that recede into the rear decklid?

This isn't a huge surprise given Ferrari's approach to its front-engine V12 cars getting an open-top variant as their swan song. THINK: The 550 Barchetta, the 575 Superamerica and the 599 SA Aperta.

The 812 GTS will join these highly sought after collector's items.

it looks atrocious. It looks like a disco barge version of the C7 Corvette. Why must modern Ferraris be so ugly?

Looks are just a small evolutionary change. Ferrari needs to step it up in the exotica styling department. The 458 was the last really great design from Ferrari that went into production IMHO.

Completely agree.

Pininfarina and Ferrari’s relationship is no more and Stile Ferrari (in house) is in charge.

OOR - I really like MY Superfast a LOT - I think it looks just fine - especially from behind the wheel - and Ferrari has no problem selling all they can make.

What problems are you having with YOURs?

Where to start?

Notice TomM's sneering white privilege.

First off, Tom, congrats on the 812 SF. Hope it's enjoyed in good health.

Second, just because I don't own a Ferrari doesn't mean my thoughts are discredited. After all why buy one when FNA has no problem sending them to me for free?

And, I stick by my sentiment: Pininfarina has consistently turned out the best Ferrari designs. Stile Ferrari's efforts have, so far, been underwhelming.

Looking forward to seeing what else comes from the in-house team and how the brand evolves its designs over time.

Matt - another RACIST remark from the car salesman! Typical.

00R - The Superfast allows me to actually drive the Car with my limited movement in my Right Leg. But as you know - I also got it for Free - I got to keep mine.. I actually like the way it looks - consider it far more than just an evolutionary change from the F12.

I really am not enamoured by several of the Ferrari Pininfarina designs and I note that while the 458 does look OK from the front - the rear half of the car just does not seem right. THe Enzo was Ghastly as far as I am concerned as well. I feel a Ferrari should have a flowing shape

I wish could say I will be here to see new Ferrari designs - but the tech explosion is making design a second thought. Too many of the main players are in sit and wait mode - because of the advance of EV "THOUGHT". Eventually they will make an EV with a design of its own -that still looks enough like a car to be bought for its design again.

When the roof is that raked mfg's should forgo the removable top. Don't wack your skull on the corner of the roof as you get in or out. This is unnecessary.

Like Porsche, the die is cast and new models are only infinitesimally evolved.
