So completely unimpressed. It looks as awkward in its own way as the Jeep Gladiator.

@MD-What's up with the floating painted section on the rear windows? Designed in blind spot. They have to be kidding. LJR designers are awful. This could have been authentic instead people are given a soap bar with some lame execution.

Better than I thought. Taillight design is particularly interesting and refreshingly novel, though I do wish the headlights were more inspired by the last defender. Might be worth picking up on a lease, as I wouldn't consider buying a new ICE vehicle at this point. The future is electric.

I would not buy anything from Jaguar/Land Rover given their poor reliability and high cost of repairs. Lease and dump.

It's kind of neither here nor there. This is one vehicle that could have used a massive dose of old school styling. The 5+2 seating option on the 110 is intriguing but one does wonder how much (or little) room there will be in the 3rd row.

I would have loved to see massive wheel arches for those interested in fitting big mud/snow tires. Lots of knobs and switches, mount for a proper winch, skid plates, etc., that's what I'd love to see.

I like it so far. Would like to get a look at it in the flesh before I totally buy into it.

I will say I think this is the way the Land Rover Discovery should have gone as well, with the more boxy off road vibe and capabilities. Leave the adequately off road capable, sleek shaped, luxurious SUVs to Range Rover.

I like the 5 door and that goldfish color really works. The 3 door looks awkward. Interior is nice. Overall I like it.

At least it is out now, so we can all stop talking about how much it's going to suck.

...by the way, the 5-door station wagon looks exactly like a Ford Flex. I'm still amazed that the Flex has hung on for as long as it has - though I think Ford is discontinuing it for 2020 so get yours now so you can pry off the Ford decals/badges and make your own cut-rate Land Rover Defender.

The Flex has consistent sales year after year and was especially sought after in California.

What an awesome comment!

I see nothing special about the design after so much hype. Why is the C pillar so wide. It seems unnecessary.
Now that someone mentioned the Ford Flex, I cannot unsee it. I did always like the Flex and that Ford did something different and practical.

Anyone know how difficult it is to see out of the rear window with that spare right there? Someone with a Wrangler?
