I guess now when we see a two-year old German car with blue/white smoke pouring out of the exhaust pipe we can no longer assume it is a BMW. (Not an uncommon sight near the service entrance of BMW Manhattan near my home - last sighting, two weeks ago a late model Alpina 7-series billowing clouds of smoke behind it).
