WHICH and WHY? Based On LOOKS Alone, Which Ferrari Would YOU Put In Your Garage?
Not too long ago, Ferrari debuted its new F8 Tributo. While there was a good amount of excitement — when isn't there when a Ferrari debuts — I was a bit let down.

Not only was its SF90 based on the 458 Italia's now dated chassis. So was the F8 Tributo.

Following Ferrari's cadence over the past 30 years, this should have meant the reveal of an all-new chassis. Instead we're getting something repackaged. While I don't doubt that this F8 Tributo will be an improvement and the SF90 will take the marque in an all-new direction, it's still a bit of a bummer.

It also doesn't help that the 458 Italia was a vehicle with excellent styling. Styled by Pininfarina many considered it to be the Ferrari that brought back sensual designs that were lacking from the F brand.

Having said that, at the request of a user, we wanted to put all three designs next to each other to see WHICH one YOU think is best — and WHY.

So, lay it on us, Spies! What say you?

Honestly none of those hold a candle to my 2 favorite Stallions, the F 40 and Enzo, no other Ferrari Gives me a fever like those 2

I hear you.

Funny thing is, and I know I am in the minority here, I don't find the F40 or Enzo pretty looking. They're brute-ish.

I like the cleaner original 458.

Most people are averse to the new. It's natural.

458 is clean and elegant, yes, but F8 definitely the car for its times.

Looks great IMO.

I actually like the F8 from the front, front 3/4 and side.

Its rear end is what is a bit too fussy for me.

New Ferraris are absolutely hideous and graceless.

Any Ferrari from the 1960's (Lusso, 250GT , 275GTB/4, etc). Classic, genuine, tactile, raw power and sound, steering feel, driving jewel, man and machine bond nothing new can match, approachable conversation starter wherever you go.

I would choose the F8 Tributo. It is the most area and the most motorsport of the 3. Remember this car has as much power as a first gen Aventador. It also does not have a video game interior like the SF90 which is more like a La Ferrari that got left in the dryer too long.

None of the current ones. They are all so ugly. I'd prefer a 365 GTB/4 Daytona, a Testarossa, a 550 Maranello, or a 456.

550 will be a future classic, IMHO.

Fave of all time is the 288 GTO. A perfect statement of sensual aggression.

Out of this trio, the F8 is my favorite. The 458 is a nice clean design, if a little subdued. The 488 is better but the front air dam ruins the curvaceous design. The F8, much like the 288, is a perfect blend of the Ferrari sensuality with aggressive touches.

The F121 Berlinetta is stunning as well.

Sorry - but anyone who buys a Ferrari(or Lambo, etc) on LOOKS alone is probably a collector whose cars tires never hit the pavement. In that case - there are OTHER art forms that appreciate in value faster and for a longer term than cars.

I never liked the Enzo or the F40 as well. But It was not until recently that I could afford to actually have one of these cars - so that is not a fair comparison. As I have said - there remains something about a Naturally aspirated V-12 (ANd the one in my Superfast is a really really good one) - that cannot be duplicated by a smaller Turbo - or for that matter a V-8 of any type. ANd since I would REQUIRE the V-12 first - there are a lot of Ferris I would not consider - not matter how good Someone else thought they looked. And Ferrari has indicated it will be the Last of its kind from them - so I got lucky. I suppose the 275 would be my choice for looks if I really had to.

In fact - although I sold it -I the preferred the Naturally aspirated V-12 in my Older Phantom - to the Twin Turbo one in my newest one.
