SPIED: All-new Spy Shots Of The Upcoming Ford "Baby" Bronco Give Us Some NEW Angles

SPIED: All-new Spy Shots Of The Upcoming Ford
Easily one of the most anticipated vehicle debuts in recent memory, there's a lot riding on the launch of Ford's upcoming Bronco. I have had folks from all walks of life tell me about their enthusiasm for Ford's next-gen, utilitarian truck.

With it comes a bonus though. That would be the "baby" Bronco.

Although some reports have said it will be dubbed the Adventurer, that buzz seems to have died down in recent months.

Whatever it will be called, we've been keeping a close eye on any developments. The latest spy shots have emerged and it seems that not much has been peeled off from when we last saw it. There's some news because a spy got an interior shot of the "baby" Bronco.

While it is heavily camouflaged, there's a couple things to make out. First, its steering wheel is lifted from the Escape, which can be telling as to what components may be shared. Obviously, the steering rack is carried over. Second, if you look close you can see there's a digital instrument panel (IP) being employed.

Looks little like the original Bronco - although that might be a good thing

However - if this is anything like the original Broco in Driving dynamics - and they were truly horrible - It will not be a big seller.

Still - it could be the first of a new group of "MUSTANG" Cuvs. WHen I was younger - we called them "CHIC" cars - of which the MustangII was the greatest example.

The new pictures don't reveal anything new. The article notes that the steering wheel seem to come from the 2020 Escape. Well, this IS an Escape that has been butched up. The Escape has actually been made lower and more car line to make room for the Baby Bronco to be like the original Escape which was very much like a baby Bronco.

I'm confused. Are we getting a Baby Bronco and an Adult Bronco? I thought initially it was just going to be a single Bronco.

@cidflekken Are you not paying attention? How would you not be aware of those two, at this point I wonder? Anything not Mercedes, is not worthy of concern to you I imagine.

Big dog U725 final body is already testing but it is withheld from public accessibility. Nobody will see it until corporate is ready, for the verification prototypes to be seen testing publicly in deep sheathing and camo.

So now I know from these photos that the new baby Bronco will be a shoe box on 4 wheels. How exciting.

Not that I care to share information with Auto Spies, this is the CX430 Bronco based on the C2 architecture shared with the CX482 Escape and CX483 Lincoln Corsair (neƩ MKC).

The ladder frame Bronco is U725, while outgoing Everest is U375 and USDM Ranger is P375N, on T6 frame.

A newly engineered T6 frame (being developed in Australia and Dearborn), will debut on the new U725 Bronco.

Ranger (P703) will shift to this by 2022 and is already done with styling. U725 and CX430 designs were finalized in 2018.

All this I had said a year ago, but it all falls on deaf ears.

The inexcusably leaked offroader, is the CX430. Like its big brother, CX430 has BRONCO in the grille, instead of FORD like the dealer conference rendering. Has Bronco badging and signature cues.

As for the big U725, I'll shut up for legal reasons. One thing I will mention, it looks nothing like the majority of useless renderings. Best product coming out of Dearborn and better than the L663 LR (I worked on it).
