WHICH Car Company Offers The WORST Quality BASE Interior?

WHICH Car Company Offers The WORST Quality BASE Interior?
If there's one thing we try to do here, it's bring the you the latest and greatest automotive content. It may be a story related to the most decadent automotive interiors we've seen or, possibly, which auto has the most staggering V8 produced today.

It's not as easy as it looks.

Every now and then we like to dive into economy cars and vehicles on the non-luxury side of the spectrum. Although we appreciate the finer things like most of our audience, we also love great products that are shipped at scale. We're kind of design and product geeks.

During a recent back and forth, Agent 001 asked a good question: WHICH automaker is delivering the WORST quality base interior today?

While I definitely had several leaders in the contingency, I wanted to ask you first. So, are you going to NAME and SHAME?

They're all pretty good nowadays.

Mitsubishi Mirage?

Tesla Model 3 - oh wait, that's not a base model.

Nissan probably has the worst materials quality in every segment right now.

Sorry, but that isn't accurate and won't be in terms of every redesign or facelift coming up.

The latest 2020 Versa and 2020.5 Sentra fix that issue altogether, as does the 2021 Rogue.

You both confirmed and denied malba's comment. "sorry, that isn't accurate and won't be when they fix it in 2020 and 2020.5." Which is it? If their interiors are not an issue why is Nissan fixing them?

Subaru and Nissan are the ones who come to mind.

Nissan may have awful CVTs and buzzy 4-cylinders, but the interiors have or are getting major attention into next year.

If you include the 2019 Frontier, yes it's true. No more Q70/L sedan and Frontier is going on hiatus for 1 model year (skipping).

Tesla model 3! Only large rectangle screen, no instrument cluster and no other controls. Cannot get a cheaper looking interior then the model 3.

That is my vote.

This is the aesthetic all future cars are moving towards, live with it.

Tesla Model 3 looks like crap on the inside and those pie pan wheels are horrible as well.

Got be the Model 3! So minimalist, it just plain cheap looking with only one large LED screen with no other knobs other then a couple for safety sake!
