Alfa Plans On The New Tonale Crossover Being A Big Hit - Will You Be Banking On It?
Images reportedly showing the finished or near-finished design have been posted online, seemingly first by an Italian car forum before being widely shared on social media

They reveal the car bears a resemblance to the original Geneva motor show concept, but with a number of changes. At the front, the split between the bonnet and front bumper has grown, accomodating more conventional headlights.

Tiny CUV's seem to be where it's at these days. Too small to be useful. Too tiny to be stylish. But people buy them.

If they separate themselves from Chrysler and it’s $#!++y dealer network they’ll be fine.

Actually, stand-alone Alfa or Alfarati dealers are closing for lack of a business case. Folding them into Chrysler dealers is the only way Alfa Romeo will be viable if even that is possible.

The reason they don’t have business is because they’re dualed with CDJR stores. The buyers of these cars don’t want to be treated like they bought a Dodge. Second they over saturated the market areas with too many dealers ensuring that none would be profitable. A culling of dealers is badly needed.

Front looks good. Wheels are too small but that's easily fixed.

Not bad looking, certainly better than the origami designs, at least to my eyes. However I am not sure they have the time or good will to turn things around here in the US which is unfortunate. I like more choices in the market rather than fewer and if we loose Alfa it is unlikely they will ever return.

I've been waiting over 10 years for a Fiat SUV so I can say: "Fix It Again Tony."

So what is it going to be? A tarted up Fiat 500X with a nicer body and 10K more expensive. If they are using the same platform as the 500X what other conclusion can you come to other than its a rip off.
