Excuse me, $65,000 and it gets less than sparkling reviews in enthusiast magazines. I don't think so. First generation WRX STi's were ralley cars for the road and great for the price, this is something else. I would pass in favor of much better cars for the money.

Subaru has lost its direction. It is a potato that thinks it is steak.

The base car should have that much power in this day and age relative to the competition. For $65k this model should have much power as the WRC car, 380hp to 400hp. You would need to be a died in the wool subie fan to drop that kind of money on this car.

For the dies in the wool Sube fan I guess. Further only 209 of them. Still would take a type R over these. One hopes the tech will trickle down to the replacement WRX platform.
