SPIED! 2021 F-150 Interior? Or Will It GO BIG And BLOW This Away?

SPIED! 2021 F-150 Interior? Or Will It GO BIG And BLOW This Away?
As much as Tesla is in the news and all the buzz that surrounds it, let's face it, pickup trucks and suv's rule the roost in 2019.
And the King is the Ford F-150.

But if there ever was punch that did a little damage in the last five years it was thrown by the RAM with their take on the pickup truck interior. And that HUGE screen didn't hurt either. Ford may hate to admit it, but it's stolen SOME sales from the F-Series.

So many car companies like to share parts between models...screens, switches, entertainment, etc.

Earlier in the summer the Spies were in Portland testing the 2020 Ford Explorer. And it sported an all new interior. Especially on the high end models.

A bigger, oddly mounted, ipad style screen. Smaller than Tesla Model 3 and TINY compared to RAM.

To be honest, we weren't fans of the interior AND the new Explorer. There's nothing wrong with it. But the much better looking and executed Telluride and Palisade showed up to the party and we think the Explorer product team played it a little too safe. Especially, with screen and tech.

So the 2021 Ford F-150 and we know they love part sharing...So will the 2021 interior be CLOSE to this or will Ford GO BIG and blow this away?

And is it important to do that or would customers be fine with a variation of this?

Spies, discuss...

I don't know. Those cup holders are kind of wimpy small.

Agreed and first thing I asked was what in the 2003 Ford Taurus is going on here? Do they think the iPad hides the decades old dash design?

The photo shows the newest Explorer top trim interior. Where's the 2021 F-150 Interior?

Look at the number of Tesla articles... um everywhere. No other car company near their size is growing as fast.

And you clearly don't realize how much more frequently Tesla does product updates than other companies. There was huge buzz around the V10 software release a couple of weeks ago which brought Netflix, Youtube, Karaoke, a legit video game, Spotify, and Smart Summon to any car built in the last three years. There is already buzz around the next release which will bring Autopilot to city streets later this year and let your car part itself after you get out of it. I'm sure Autospies will have several articles on those features when they come out. In other news, Ford puts a large screen on a car that is almost as nice as the one Tesla used on their cars in 2012.

Home run for Ford. Hopefully this design and quality travels throughout the rest of the lineup.

If the Ford F 150 interior looks like that... The Nissan Titan will rise to Number 1 in Truck Sales

San Jose Driver Said: There was huge buzz around the V10 software release

Of course their was. Elon was smoking weed on TV … remember

Not sure what v10 has to do with smoking weed, which he did very poorly on the podcast. Not sure if you can get an effect without inhaling.

WTH does Tesla have to do with a F150? No full sized truck buyer would even consider a Tesla.

We'll see after Tesla's truck is unveiled next month. (You could be right, the design is going to be polarizing at best)

And as usual Auto Spies has no evidence of anything and just eye-rolling clickbait.

The interiors on the P702, look NOTHING like the U625 Explorer's! The unit is more integrated by comparison.

Try not to turn yourselves into Auto Spam and become like those spamblog Engrish "Release Date, Spec" websites from the other side of the globe.

@Agent 001 The GO BIG. It is an amazing interior and you will be impressed. I can't directly reply to you. Many features in the next generation of F-150.

I can't imagine why you would ever assume the Explorer interior has anything to do with it. I have much more to say about what is inside, but NDA = no-no.
