Excuses, excuses. God, you Elon fanboys will rationalize anything to defend Tesla. Do you have firm evidence that it is an "old" Model S? How old?
Do you have any verified results of any Tesla beating a Porsche? Maybe the sun was in the tesla driver's eyes, or his shoes were untied.
Not to mention the Taycan is better built, better interior, better reliability, better handling, better brakes, etc....

@Truthy - When the cars are on the starting line you can see that the white Models S is an older car with the Gen 1 body as you can see the black fake grill area in the video. Look closely. What difference that makes vs a 2019 Model S is not something I would think would make the outcome of this test any different.

New ones aren't called P100D. They have DUAL MOTOR underlined in red on the trunk lid. Have a different front motor and are considerably faster. That's how I know.

Nice as expected, Tesla beats Taycan to 100 in initial run, then Taycan eventually overtakes. Taycan beats Tesla in repeated runs being built to do just so and cool batteries.

I'm not sure if the Raven version will be much faster, but it does has better cooling in the motor for sustained performance. We'll have to see, I'll look forward to seeing more tests.

Haven't even seen a Taycan yet, but am looking forward to checking them out when they start appearing in Silicon Valley.
